a wedding is on the way
I've been AWOL, sorry. Traveled to Texas for work and haven't had a chance to post.
I'm working on a cake design for the wedding coming up in 12 days, and I'm pretty excited.
The theme is Moroccan, and this isn't the final design, it's just the one the couple has seen (the final will be a surprise, I've changed a few things up and added some fun)
It'll have three layers, chocolate cake - mint chocolate filling, yellow cake, chocolate filling. The fondant will be chocolate brown, and all of the embellishments will be milk and white chocolate! Except the ropes on the third layer, those will be fondant.
I've done some practice with melted chocolate and found it to be quite fun, although I failed at taking photos.
There won't be any photos or updates until after the wedding though!
